Oh Eric, your words are beautiful and heartfelt. What a wonderful gift God has given you! I look forward to many more of your amazing entries of Life Lived Italian. ❤️
What do you mean, you were “once” a songwriter? I, ummmm, think you just wrote one—a paean to summer! Many lyric-worthy thoughts in there.
I will be doing a couple of weeks in Sicily in late March. Would love to have dinner with you and C, if I build in a day or two in Roma on either end. Meanwhile, keep the good words flowing! Now that we have lost a summer-lovin’ bard (Jimmy Buffett), we need someone to take up the slack. “Limoncelloville”? Well, maybe not…😂…
Thanks so much for the kind words-- means so much! Sicily in March sounds fantastic; perfect time to be there. Would love to see you if our plans intersect. We're still a bit vague as to our 2024 travel schedule-- we're usually in Italy in January or early February or April. But everything is a bit up in the air at the moment, so let's hope maybe a March dinner works out. We'll let you know our plans when they're a bit more definite. Very sad about Buffett, but yes, maybe it's time for an ode to the land of citrus trees and aperitivo! Thanks again for the support!
